INAMI'S vision to play a vital role in the bringing of the restoration of prophets and apostles to the Church, is based upon Acts 3:20-21: “And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” (emphasis added). This restoration of “all things” includes the restoration of apostles and prophets to the Church to take their place alongside evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Together these “five-fold” ministers will equip the believers for the work of the ministry (Eph. 4:11-12).
Along with the restoration of the offices of apostle and prophet, we believe God is restoring all the gifts of the Spirit which were active in the early Church. As the 1st century believers turned their world upside down through the power of the Holy Spirit, God wants to move in and through His people today. To prophesy is to speak forth the word and heart of God, as Jesus did (Jn. 8:28), and to do apostolic works is to do what Jesus did: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (Mt. 10:8, see also Jn. 5:19). As the Church does this, the world will be impacted, a great harvest of souls will come in, and the Bride of Christ will be fully perfected for the Lord’s return (Eph. 4:13-16, Rev. 19:7-8).
INAMI serves as an alliance for worldwide Ministries and Ministers of diverse cultural backgrounds, empowering them to do Kingdom business through fellowship, ministry equipping, church planting, evangelism, and mission outreach, training them to do New Testament Ministry to this generation. Our Vision is to rise up an effective group of multicultural Ministers in the 21st century; who will tear down racial barriers within the church, abolish stereo types across religious lines, create opportunities for financial empowerment within communities and strengthen families by enhancing family values from a global perspective.
True apostolic oversight has to do with the function of a "father".
Operating in the unconditional love, care and and support, with the intention of training his children to be men and women of God, who would one day step into the role of fathering.
As we know, caring for children can be tiring work. Paul said; You remember brethren, our labor and toil, laboring day and night (1 Thess. 2:9).
True apostles will faithfully proclaim “The Gospel of God" without alteration or substitution, preparing the next generation to do the same.
Apostolic oversight is foundational. Paul said; I have laid a foundation and another builds on it (1 Cor. 3:10). The foundation of a building is out of sight, but it is the key to stability and the growth of the structure built on it. Many churches today have faulty foundations and as a result they continually struggle with the same problems. Jesus Christ himself is the Chief Cornerstone of the foundation (Eph. 2:20). Everything the church is and does has to be rightly related to Christ, because the church belongs to Him.
